CURRENT STATE ASSESSMENT
Business content. Interviews are conducted with key business stakeholders to establish the levels of support and services required from the ICT function. These interviews focus on the business plans and context and how the ICT and technology can support the business in reaching its short term and strategic goals.
ICT organisation context. Leveraging a combination of industry standard frameworks and methodologies such as COBIT, ITIL and Prince2, a correct state maturity assessment is conducted across the ICT function.
MATURITY TARGET DEFINITION
Essentials. Based on the outcomes from the Current State Assessment and consultation with ICT management and business stakeholders a maturity boot strap plan is created. Key to deriving rapid value is the identification of critical governance items or processes that require enhancement to meet the organisations operational needs. These “essential” items are targeted for inclusion in the “Bootstrap” bundle.
Development Goals. Items that are identified for improvement in order to support the organisations longer term or strategic objectives are documented along with a recommended approach for continuous improvement.
Rapid Standards Definition. Targeting the items identified in the essentials boot strap plan, Frontline’s Consultants leverage our extensive library of Governance artefacts and work with stakeholders to identify those that are optimal fit and will tailor these to your organisations governance model and requirements.
Rapid Process and tools Implementation.Supporting the increased maturity in ICT governance, our consultants will work with the operational team to map the required service levels to key ICT processes and procedures. These are then targeted for rapid enhancement based on fit for purpose definitions of industry standard processes.
ONGOING DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT
Business Change Support. Many organisational change projects fail due to poor support of staff during the early stages following the introduction of new processes or procedures. Frontline Services provides ongoing support to staff and management to ensure the ongoing success of the maturity improvement process.
Ongoing Health Checks. To support your organisations longer term continuous improvement programme, Frontline Services offers a regular or on demand health check / advisory service to guide and supportICT management on the longer term maturity improvement plans and performance.
